The heart of Colombia's coffee axis

The coffee grows within the Eje Cafetero — the mountainous heartland UNESCO named a Coffee Cultural Landscape and a living Patrimony of Humanity. It comes from one contiguous estate of more than 400 hectares: the fields sit side by side, at 1,250–1,460 metres, on the same soils and microclimate. Steep terrain forces selective hand-picking; the shared ground is what keeps the cup the same, lot after lot.

The varieties

A blend built for consistency, not luck.

The estate is planted to a considered mix of Colombian Arabica cultivars. Castillo forms the backbone — a rust-resistant variety bred for cup quality and yield — rounded out by classic Caturra sweetness, the Colombia variety, and a touch of Cenicafé 1. Together they give a cup that arrives the same, lot after lot, and a crop that stands up to the elements.

The cup

Graded, clean, and cold-stable.

Assessed by a licensed Q-grader against SCA/CVA protocol — defect-free, commercially consistent, and forgiving to roast. Sweet through the middle, with an acidity that stays composed as the cup cools.
